Due to Kimboo’s rules last names are not displayed within the app. This is also part of Kimboo’s respect of privacy among players.

When two players start following each other, thet automatically become Kimboo friends. Once the friendship is triggered Kimboo both players are notified and messaging (chat) is unlocked.

Due the game rules and Kimboo’s privacy policy, your Kimnoo friends or who yopu follow are not displayed to anyone in the game.

You can follow any player in total privacy; players you started following are not notified unless you choose to send them Karma. If you want to notify a player that you have started following him/her, you need to send Karma. When you send someone Karma, they are instantly notified via push notification and also by e-mail. You can always privately unfollow any player. Due to our privacy policy, your following list are strictly personal and are not displayed in the game.

By default, all players are matched with their opposite gender within +/- 10 years of your age within you country. Yet, players are able to manully change the gender, age group and location which that want to be matched with. You can use Menu > Settings > Match Preferences page of the right hand filter on Game Result page.

This percentage signifies your “affinity score” with that specific player. The affinity score aims to calculate the compatibility of two players with respect to their values, opinions, attitudes, interests and lifestyles. Affinity score is the ratio of common answers of two players divided by the total number of common questions answered. Affinity scores amongst all players are continuously updated and displayed to respective players.

Karma is an in app currency thats enables players to trigger certain actions within the game.

1) Sending someone a push notification, allowing them to be informed of your interest in them.
2) Unlock profiles who are following you, compared answeres and reviewed your profile.

The purpose of sending Karma is to attract the other player’s attention and ask to be favorited back so that you can become friends and unlock private messaging between you. Upon registration, each new Kimboo player is given 20 units of Karma as a welcome gift. When you run out of Karma, you can purchase more by going to Menu > My Profile and clicking Get More Karma.

Karma is a critical tool within the game. Therefore players are not allowed to stop receiving Karma from other players. If you want to turn off push notifications, you may do so on your phone’s Notifications settings. Still you will keep receiving an automatically generated email. If you want to block a specific player, you may do so by clicking the block icon on their profile page.

You can add as many questions as you like! Good news is, every approved question gets you a free Karma. Simply go to Menu > Add Question, type in your question and two relevant options as answers. You will need to pick one of the answers as your own choice before you can submit your question. All questions are moderated, edited for clarity and approved by the Kimboo team prior to their publication.

You can only message with your Kimboo friends. Players who have unlocked friendship also unlock private messaging. You cannot message players who you follow or your matches.

The following information is part of your Kimboo profile. Your profile is visible to all the players in the game:

* Your name
* Profile pictures you uploaded
* Number of mutual questions answered (with the person vieweing your profile)
* How many common answers you have (with the person vieweing your profile)
* Affinity score (among the person seeing your profile)
* Age
* Gender
* Zodiac sign
* City
* Stories you have uploaded
* Answers to the mutual questions (with the person vieweing your profile)

Kimboo respects the privacy of its players. In this respect, no one in the game will have access to your:

* Your following list
* Your friends list
* In you are online in the game or not.

You may not change your name, age or gender after initial registration. You can change your profile picture and e-mail address as well as your User Name (@handle)

You can always delete your Kimboo by using “Menu >> Settings >> Delete Account”. When you delete your account, all your actions within Kimboo will be deleted and will they will not be seen by other players what so ever. Yet, once you delete your account, your personal data are kept passive on Kimboo servers in case of any legal disputes. If you sign in to Kimboo again, you will be treated as a new player, thus your previous account history will not be available.

You can block anyone any time within the game by clicking the Block icon on the player’s profile page. The other party will never be notified, but they will that they are blocked by you if they visit your profile. Blocked players are deleted from your Matches, Following and Friends lists. If you block a friend, although you will able to see the messaging history, you will not be able to send new messages to each other. You may unblock players any time. If you unblock a former friend you will become friends again and you can start messaging again.

You may unblock players any time. Go to Menu > Settings > Blocked Players and click on the delete icon next to the name of the player you wish to unblock. If you block a friend and unblock him/her, your frindship will continue.

You must be at least 18 years of age to play Kimboo.

Users cannot registers to Kimboo without clearly stating that they have fully read and accepted Kimboo’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

By accessing Kimboo, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter enter into Kimboo’s Terms of Use Agreement. You can always hide your profile. When you hide your profile your answers and other activities are no longer visiable to other players. Yet if you hide your activities your home page will become inactive and you will not be able to see the answers of other players. You can keep answering questions when you hide your profile.

To hide your profile use Menu > Settings > “Hide my activities” button.

In order to enhance security and trust among Kimboo friends, players must first verify their mobile number via Mobile Connect in order start direct messaging within the app. Players who verify their account are automatically upgraded to “Mobile Number Verified” status within the game.

The blue icon stands for “Mobile Number Verified” status. It enhances security and trust among players. A player who has verified his/her mobile number by using Mobile Connect Login or Mobile Connect Verify, are automatically upgraded to “Mobile Number Verified” status within the game.

Once you login to Kimboo, you can play in every language available in the app with one account. You can always keep switching from language to language; there is no limit.

To switch between the languages use “Menu >> Settings >> Game language”.

Kimboo questions are different for every language. When you change the game language, you will be matched only with players of that language. Your profile settings will not change as you switch between different languages. You will be able to consume the same Karma you have in your profile, in all the languages you prefer to play.

Players must be at least 18 years of age in order to sign into Kimboo and play. By signing to and accessing Kimboo, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter enter into Kimboo’s Terms of Use. Kimboo gives 5 different options for location based matching which can be changed “Menu >> Settings >> Matching Preferences >> Location Preference”.

* My country (default): You will be matched with all the players within your country, who play in your preferred language.
* My city: You will be matched with all the players within your city.
* Whole world: You will be matched with all the players across the world including your country.
* Rest of the world: You will be matched with all the players across the world excluding your country.
*Certain country: You will be matched with all the players in a country you have chosen.

Additionally you can filter your matches according to how near they are. By using “Players near-by” option on your filter menu you can see Kimboo players who are at a distance of 2 kilometer diameter. In order to use this feature you have to turn on your phone’s location feature.
